According to the Oxford English Dictionary, Uber means “denoting an outstanding or supreme example of a particular kind of person or thing”
That definition seems perfectly fine to us but after a somewhat busy couple of years, filled with managerial switchovers, court cases, London black cab demonstrations, hacking cover-ups and license withdrawals, it doesn’t look like this year will be much quieter for Uber, the somewhat strangely named, 100 million app download taxi service.
