Wow! How times flies. We are 20 this year!
In the same year that Britney Spears was asking her baby to hit her one more time and Aerosmith were screaming that they didn’t want to miss a thing, Value Cars Group was founded by local businessman, Adrian Sainsbury.
The goal was to become the market leader in local Taxi hire. Since then we have grown substantially, to more than 100 vehicles and picked up 14 coveted awards along the way, including ‘ South Wiltshire Business of The Year’, twice.
Those early 1998 business plans have matured into one of Salisbury’s largest companies, offering not just Salisbury taxi hire but luxuriously equipped coaches, minibuses and our fabulous Mercedes Benz E Class chauffeur drive service. We receive 9,000 transport requests per week and serve more than 1 million passengers each year.
Although we are very proud of all these achievements we do not intend to rest on our laurels. This year we are launching our new website, steamlining our telephone comms package, installing wi-fi in our coaches, acquiring more vehicles and continually training existing and new staff, all to improve on our already huge reputation for outstanding customer service.
